About

The face behind Storytelling4Tech.

Hello and great to meet you!

My name is Iva Vlasimsky and here’s my story.
Writing has been my passion ever since I learned to scribble those first letters at the age of 4. Fast forward 20 years later and I earned an M.A. in journalism, so it was no surprise that I spent my next decade as a newspaper reporter.
As tablets entered the tech market, I started to think of ways to combine technology with reading and writing, which led me to become a mobile book app producer: I wrote and created a concept for an educational book app for children “Cats With Spots” (still alive on iTunes).
When I started to write award submissions for Microsoft partners, I realized that the IT world has so much that needs to be told.
Soon after, I founded Storytelling4Tech with a mission to help software companies tell their stories, which change our world at a rapid pace.

So, what’s your story?

Testimonials

What others think of my work:

As a trained journalist and professional writer, Iva is a great storyteller who truly gets the need to educate which is the essence of content marketing. With an eye for detail and extensive research skills she successfully transforms plain data and technology language into compelling stories that everyone can understand. Along with a strong work ethic, a lot of creative energy and passion for writing, she is also very collaborative and a pleasure to work with. She often thinks “out of the box” to create original pieces that stand out. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants engaging, professionally written content designed to drive leads for your organization.
Gail Mercer-MacKay, Chief Digital Storyteller for Technology Companies

In a global content marketing project that spanned dozens of countries, 60+ companies, and 25 writers, Iva stood out as the most consistent, reliable and knowledgeable writer involved. Her ability to communicate with clients, gain the information needed and deliver a first-rate story was so appreciated. I can’t recommend Iva’s professional writing abilities enough.

Rebecca Mayville, IAMCP Award Project Coordinator

Working with Iva was professional and pleasant. She texted an award case study for us and I can recommend her both regarding her capability to quickly grasp the important aspects and to understand the technical context. I can recommend Iva as a very efficient content writer who delivers high-quality results.
